Creators as City Marketers

The Garment District was looking to promote its thriving scene of boutiques, restaurants, coffee shops, rooftops and bars to attract a substantial amount of visitors to its neighborhood. Of course, they soon found out that the best way to do this was through a group of inspiring creators!

To help promote the Garment District, we task curious and adventurous New Yorkers who were keen to explore their city and find out what the Garment District had to offer, all the while doing the things they love. Wandering through top-notch restaurants, public art exhibitions and amazing rooftop lounges, and then sharing all of their discoveries and favorite spots online, reaching millions of Americans.

The Garment District

The Garment District (also known as the Garment Center, the Fashion District, or the Fashion Center) is a neighborhood located in the borough of Manhattan in New York City. The dense concentration of fashion-related uses give the neighborhood its name. Less than 1 square mile (2.6 km2), it is generally considered to lie between Fifth Avenue and Ninth Avenue, from 34th to 42nd Street.

The neighborhood is home to many of New York City’s showrooms and numerous major fashion labels and it caters to all aspects of the fashion process from design and production to wholesale buying/selling.

The Garment District has been known since the early 20th century as the center for fashion manufacturing and design in the United States, and even the world. There’s not a single-spot that has more potential for influencers than the vibrance of this charismatic and vivid neighborhood.

The Cirqle collaborated with Marino PR, a pr-firm based out of New York City for these campaigns.

From our Brands:

“In order to strengthen the Garment District brand throughout New York City, Marino partnered with The Cirqle on behalf of the Garment District Alliance (GDA). The goal is to highlight the Garment Districts’ diverse mix of dining, fashion and entertainment, and ultimately create buzz to drive foot traffic to the neighborhood. Using The Cirqle’s robust data and analytics dashboard, Marino selected influencers that aligned with GDA’s brand and objectives.

As a result, we earned more than 5M impressions, reaching engaged audiences, generating beautiful content and garnering insights that will inform future marketing initiatives. We absolutely see the value in these campaigns and will continue to incorporate them into our strategic plans going forward.”

From our Creators:

“I recently had the pleasure of working with The Cirqle and loved that the experience went beyond the platform. I was able to chat with a real person who was always eager to guide me. That said, I had complete creative control which allowed me to create content I knew my readers would love and that I would be extremely excited to share with them.”
